Where will my hybrid be picked up?
Most hybrid transport companies offer door-to-door service, which means they will come to your house and put the hybrid on the truck in front of you. However, with major cities comes tiny roads, and trucks can’t drive on those small roads. The hybrid transport trucks can be as long as 75 ft long, which makes it virtually impossible to squeeze on a small, two-lane road. If the truck can’t get to your house, generally they will contact you and let you know that you need to meet them in a parking lot or some other place that the truck can fit in. Also, because of the nature of the United States, many cities prohibit giant trucks from going down minor roads. This is why you never see large 18-wheelers driving past your house. This is generally why you may need to meet the truck in a parking lot or someplace else that the truck can fit in. If they come to your house and there are laws preventing him from doing so, he could get a major fine--then your hybrid will never move! So let the company that you transport your hybrid with if your streets are narrow and the truck can’t get in...they’ll appreciate that.

Hybrid Transport Broker QuoteAn hybrid transport broker quote is a quote that you receive from an hybrid transport broker to transport your hybrid. Typically hybrid transport broker quotes vary depending on where you’re transporting from and to, the size of the hybrid, and the time of the year. For instance, a hybrid such as a Dodge Sprinter will cost more to transport than a Hyundai Accent because it is much larger. Another thing that helps determine prices for hybrid transport broker quotes are the pickup and destination cities. Transporting from Los Angeles to New York City will cost considerably more than a quote to transport from Los Angeles to Portland, Oregon, because the distance is greater. Another big factor in determining prices for hybrid transport broker quotes is where the cities are located. Transporting into the middle of nowhere is more expensive because not a lot of trucks run through small towns – there aren’t as many people and small towns tend to be away from major highways, so drivers need an incentive to go out of their way.
Auto Shipper
an auto shipper is a person or company that ships vehicles. this can be either a broker or a carrier, depending on the company, and each has their own way of operating. a broker is an auto shipper that arranges transport – from start to finish, they will find a carrier, handle all the paperwork, and take their own broker fee, but they also keep the costs low because they look for carriers instead of shipping it themselves, so the incentive to raise your price is not there. read article...
Re: invention?
as everybody knows by now, gm, the nation’s largest auto manufacturers effectively bit the dust on monday. it is a little astounding to me how we have a special name for a large business failing (filing for chapter 11 sounds like bureaucratic jargon for the end of a work day). they announced that they would be filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, though honestly i think we would all be denying ourselves the truth if we say that we haven’t seen this coming for a long time now. read article...
Cash for Guzzlers, I swear I won’t talk about this again.
today marks the day that the long discussed cash for guzzlers program finally goes into effect at many dealerships across the nation. now i’ve been discussing this incentive for months now, but i find it a little interesting that the details of this plan have not been expounded upon until this last friday. what you’re about to read may (or quite honestly, may not) shock you. read article...

Don't you *dare* learn a wrong lesson while I'm trying to teach you a right lesson!
