Can I transport my boat if it’s not running?
Most, if not all boat transporting companies will transport your boat if it’s not running. Usually they will charge a fee for this, as the truck must then wench it onto the truck instead of driving it (which takes time). Make sure that you let the boat transporting company know if your boat is DNR (does not run, not do not resiscitate) so they can make the necessary changes to your information as well as let the trucking company know. It is also important to let the boat transporting company know if it does not roll, brake, or steer. This is just to let them and the trucking company know if they need to make any special arraignments.

Boat Transporter CompanyAn boat transporter company can refer to either a transport brokerage or an boat carrier. The main difference is that a transport brokerage actually sets up the transport, but does not actually transport the boat; they find a carrier, a type of boat transporter, to actually transport the boat for you. Most carriers are owner-operators, which means that the driver owns his own truck and operates it himself. These are different boat transporters than fleets – fleets are large boat transporter companies that hire drivers that work for them, as opposed to drivers who own their own boats.

I said I would stop writing about this. I lied.
it seems all the news of these past couple of weeks has revolved around the “newly re-coined” cash for clunkers program that was implemented last monday. now on this blog, we have followed the progress of this program from its inception in congress, but have really been unable to speak of its potential effectiveness. on one side, this program is going to cost taxpayers quite a bit of money, but our government has been insisting that this incentive will aid the weak auto industry during this tough economic time. read article...

Oh, you mean my pilot's license? That's out back in the Cessna. Or perhaps you're referring to my license to kill. Revoked. Trouble at the Kazakhstan border. I could give you the details but then I'd have to kill you, which I can't do because my license to kill has been revoked.
